Thanks for the link to that tutorial Alexclc, it was very helpful. I've found another one here if it's useful to anyone : Tiltshiftphotography.n​et (external link)

This was shot in Florence (Palazzo Di Signora) years ago with a Nikon Coolpix 995 (3mp). I have surprisingly few pictures "looking down" on things, so I need to dig back through my archives.

I think I'm off the focal point here (1 cm too high maybe?). Comments anyone?

Thought I'd try a landscape just for fun. This is the town of Franschhoek, in South Africa. I really don't have that "down" angle to pull it off here (and I'm too far away). Still a fun experiment.
