I know the Olympics are done now but saw this thread pop up again and remembered I'd done this. Women's 200M K1 sprints semifinal 1:

man, I so want to do this. I think for now since I have very little time i'll try to just use alienskin bokeh to create this effect really quick.

Instagram app has a pretty good looking tilt-shift function also :o

Don't be embarrassed by using Instagram, it's another tool that works. Quite why so many photographers get wound up by it is beyond me

Just realized I have a bunch of shots of roller derby from a 60 foot vantage point. Now, to find a hole in my schedule to make one.

not too happy with how this turned out. Looks like the version of alienskin bokeh that I have changed and it's not as easy to do this anymore.

Tops of buidlings blurry, etc.. wish I had more control over this. I think when I tried it on my phone with Instagram it looked better than this...

I will have to do it the way the tutorial says. how long does that take? this ended up taking like 20 minutes because PS runs kinda slow with the plugin..

The blurred effect is too much and to defined, IMO.

ah, thanks for the tip. shouldn't have used an 85mm 1.2 blur effect.. lol

This instagram one is better I think. You can set the width of the depth of focus and the angle
