Nice. I am really enjoying making these. I just wish I had more pictures with the appropriate content. I've notice that views taken at a perceived angle seemed to have a better end result. What I mean by that is if there are long straight lines, like a street or a sports field, it ends up better if said lines angle across the picture and not straight from top to bottom or side to side. That's my opinion anyway. Here is a good example.

Anke - nice image, probably one of my favorite that I've seen here.

Joe - that one rocks the universe. Looks most of the fans (even in the blurred sections) are wearing red, so it really pops. Magnificent.

Lovely shot, Joe. I think you're right on the angle thing too.

Great idea - with all the lights on the strip, you'll get a fantastic photo to T&S. Love the daylight shot though - very nice.

Just monkeying around here for a bit, before the wife and I leave for a dinner party. I was lying in bed last night wondering what would happen if I changed the gradient on the quick mask from a horizontal position, to a vertical.

Of course it kills that feeling of "I'm looking down at a teeny tiny model", but still renders (in my humble opinion) sort of a neat effect. Neither of these two pictures are very great, and I was shooting with a bright mid-day sun that sort of washed everything out. Weekend visit to NYC, 2008.

Now I want to mess around with some of the other gradient effects.
