They go into compartments in my regular camera bag.

hehe yes .. but i was wondering for some lenses that i dont want to carry all the time if there was a way to store them in a bag or holder or some thing clipped to the side of my bag. my 7MDH is full and if i wanted to buy another lens either i would have to pull some thing out or buy another bag. I was thinking about putting some thing on the side almost like a Crumpler Thirsty AL i was wondering if the size was large enough for a small lens like a nifty.
I guess my question was not well worded.

That's why I have several bags. I can always find one thyat will carry what I expect to use that day/trip. Sounds like you're falling victim to Crumpler's "size inflation" :{)# My F-1x holds about everything I can conceive of wanting short of a fast super-telephoto like the 300 f/2.8 or larger lens.

Most of the major bag manufacturers also offer lens cases. See the Lowepro line here:

Check out ThinkTank Changeup (external link) or any of their other gear that does this well.

The lens bag that came with my 24-105 is pretty nice.

But I have a bunch of different bags for different occasions. Or I just use pockets in my cargo shorts ;)

My long lenses stay in their hard or soft cases that came with it. The others, if they're not in the backpack with my camera, are in a shoulder bag used to store not just the lenses but all their accessories like the teleconverters, extension tubes, filters, etc.

And, as a side note, I also have a bag where I keep all my chargers and battery/charger accessories and another bag where I keep all my flashes, battery packs and related accessories like the RF remotes, cables, light meter, etc.

Pending the lens, check out my review. I use the Crumpler Bundle Large which can hold a 430EX, 18-50, or 10-20. Those being all I got that's all I can test.
