I took this shot several weeks ago, and it's been my desktop image ever since. I think it's one small success for me as an amateur photographer. I hope in viewing it you enjoy the same feeling of peace it brings me.

Aside from very minor touch-up in PS CS3, and resizing, it's pretty much as the camera saw.

62 views and no comments good or bad. Hmm. Is it so dull as a photo that it doesn't inspire comments or is it so nice that nothing more needs to be said? :-) Anyone?

I think the shot is beautiful. The color fade on the petal is beautiful. Nice shot. No one ever comments on mine either. I don't know why.

i find the colors lovely.but the so centered shot doesn't hold my attention for long.sorry..:(

And before mrosev14 starts in on me ;).its not all centered things I do not find attractive.but sometimes a single subject needs a folly.

Thanks mrosev14. I commented on your flowers. Sometimes it's difficult to comment on so many images at once. I think if you only post two or three at a time, and larger (up to 1024 x 1024 according to forum rules) you'll get more responses.

That's OK Flo! We're all different in our likes and dislikes—or "Each to his own." as my mom used to say. :-)

I felt like the focus on the yellow color difference and seam of the petals, along with the diagonal positioning was enough to offset the centering.

Thanks for your comment.

Carl, I figured out what had me going on this shot...for me, its too much stem? I tried it without the stem, and it changed the entire perspective for me...

Thanks Flo. I'll have to try that. I'll need to take a bit off the top too I think.
