Great work! I love the combination of images, and the lettering works for me.
This is the kind of thing the player and the parents will want I think - and as a coach I would have loved to have someone do these for my vball teams. Now maybe I can learn to do this : ) Could you send me the .psd file please? I would love to try it out.

The last one posted without so much blue is MUCH better.:) The blue was overwhelming. Now the blue as the team color stands out as it should. I also agreed with the reversal of the player. I can understand doing it to create the poster, but as a parent, I don't want to have to explain why my son/daughter is left handed in one photo.

Again, I like the last one much better.

Thanks for everyone's help. This is what makes this site so good. The feedback made the poster better. I am sure the parents will fee the same way.

Kyle.

Again, great concept. As a HS Coach I am making them for my seniors.

I think everyone hit all points, and I am sure the parents will like this one. I love the color scheme.

My only thing, and maybe it is me as a coach, but it looks as if her eyes are closed in two shots?

Thanks for the comments. Yes it does look like she has her eyes closed but actually she was looking down on two shots and the other one I believe she was looking toward the sun. (when it comes to these types of photos, you take what you can get). Every photo I have of her (that I liked, with good action) has her squinting or looking down at the ball. She did not bat that game so no batting photos. She is also a pitcher so if I go to another game, I may try to get her pitching or batting. She is 13 playing 14U. Going to High School next year, may be taking photos for that high school next year also. When I spoke to her parents today, it looks like most of the team wants a poster so I will have some work to do.

Not sure if this helps but I changed to a white/blue/black gradient and made the fonts smaller.

Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it.

I like your final. It now looks like a three-frame action shot. Her images draw much more attention now with the separation they have. Very nicely done.

Why yes, I DO shoot people—and they pay me well for it.:D

Thanks everyone. Motion is done with masking and filters in CS3. I am sure there are other ways but using the wind filter is easy. I showed the current version to the girl today and she was very, very happy. I have to thank everyone that gave input for making this a winner.

Kyle.

I enjoy creating sports posters as well, i think reducing the amount of blue really improved the poster. Well Done!
