Great shots. I especially like the angle at which you've taken #1, although I think I would have been tempted to darken and blur the shot above the white wall, and clone out the cigarette butt under the rider's knee.

Thanks Ken, as you see is quite a big crop out of original below, the quality has held up well. The 300mm has been amazing, best lens I have ever owned. Better than the Nikon version especially with TC's which I had before switching to Canon:)

Superb photo's mate, really nice and sharp, the one that you cropped is an amazing shot, love the bokeh.

Thanks for the crop info Nick. I shoot a bit of motor sport and also want to do some air shows, I've used my trusty 100-400L at the moment and although I'm quite pleased with the results, the 300L 2.8, plus the x1.4 & x2.0 converter really is what I'm after.

You've helped me make my mind up :-)
