I am currently re-tooling my gear to cover my needs.
this is what i have decided to go with-
-100-400mm F4.5 5.6L for my telephoto (already acquired)
-24-105 F4L as my walkaround
-50mm 1.4 as my portrait
but I am kinda on the fence, I cannot decide if I should go with the 10-22mm or the 17-40 F4L...???
With the 10-22 I would have everything covered from 10mm all the way up to 400mm, which would be great, but then again the 24-105 is a little long for social gatherings and close quarters so the 17-40 would be perfect in those situations but I would have a little overlap between the two.
so practical or wide(R)?
