We've all got room to learn. Your first shot is a tad underexposed. I'm not familliar with the S5, but maybe higher ISO or a slower shutter would have helped. Otherwise, keep shooting!

For me the first shot is a touch underexposed and a bit flat - contrast needs boosting. That second shot is a winner though. The little girl's expression says so much.
