Very Very nice.. They seems to be a little too dark but I don't think they look bad eithering. Nice work.

The Hurdler is my fav but all very good.. Thanks for sharing. :)

Great shots! I do like the hurdler the best, however the high jumper really drew my attention. I would have liked to have seen more of a spotlight on her looking up at the bar, the one here is a little dark and she is difficult to make out. Awesome effort though! I'm sure they loved the pictures, thanks for posting :)

#2 and 3 are my favorites...especially #3 with all of the lines...
some of the other images appear a little too dark IMHO...

They are all a bit dark for my taste, but I love the concept. The hurdler image is extremely creative. Great idea. I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the idea.

Nice job. I like the 400m shot best. I think the side lighting adds a dramatic feel that works great. The only thing I would change with that shot is the bare feet. He should be wearing his spikes. Either that, or include the shoes somewhere in the image (for example, in the BG off to the side with a bunch of 1/4" needles scattered on the tartan with a spike wrench). ... With the bare feet & shoes missing, the image seems incomplete. (Just my opinion) I've been a track coach for several years, and an athlete's spikes are where the athlete and the track become one.;)

<sigh> A good friend of mine once said that "God is in the details"...SilverHCIC, good catch on the feet! I didn't even notice that. I need to pay more attention to those little things. Thanks for the lesson!

Thanks for all the comments! As for the darkness, I was using halogen shoplights at midnight so it was hard to control the spill, I was looking for the spot light effect and dramatic lighting most of the time... The darkness came as a side effect of that, I guess it would have looked better if I had strobed.

some interesting shots you have here. I can't decide which one I like the best. They all are different from what I am used to seeing done.
Great job!
