ive just bought a Nikon AS-15 sync adapter for my Flash head, since i hate using the on camera sigma flash since it throws off my shadows even on low power.

But im scared that it might damage my camera due to different voltages, are they the same? is it safe to use? its working just fine atm.

The Nikon AS-15 is just a hot shoe adapter, it does not change the sync voltages of the flashes. You will be fine with the Sigma flash.

I too have been wondering about this as for some reason I have trouble finding Canon hotshoe extender cords.

Just wondering, it's completely safe and hassle free to use a nikon/sigma/fuji extender cord on a canon?

If it hasn't fried your camera already, it's not going to. It's the flash head, not the cable, that can cause problems, and you should have checked that before you tried it out...

No problem with it, but you're only going to be able to use manual flash if you do it that way....

it can also fry my camera over time, you never know.

And iam using it with my jinhui flash head.

Now i just need help in one last thing, When i go over the shutter speed of 200, half the image is dark, But the reason i tried this is because some sigma/canon flashes offer an option to go over that limit without losing half the image. anyway to fix this?

I only get annoyed when people try to infer my mood from my punctuation...
