Here's a few photos i took at a recent track night for old Fords.Some of them seem to lack a certain punch that you guys get.My 70 - 210 f4 lens was set at F4 for most of these so could it be a little soft opened up?or is it shallow D of F .Any comments helpful.

all but the last look like they are quite noisy. What ISO were you shooting?

I think they look fine, personally.. Maybe try some different positions and angles, next time :)

Was shooting at 200ISO as the light was fading.Also did a little sharpening so may have increased the noise.

How heavily cropped are these? (2, 3 and 4 in particular).

This is pretty much the same angle @600mm (actual frame with no cropping)

If i'm correct and you've cropped some of these a fair bit, then that is where the extra noise has come from.
Your 5th shot (Yellow MK1 Escort) is actually quite nice. I'd be tempted to clone that PA system/lighting pole out though ;)
