Vegas Burrowing Owl

Las Vegas, Nevada: May '08

I'm finally getting around to processing pics and I'm only about 6 months behind. Here's a couple I took recently. Let me know how they look coz I have a new monitor and everything looks very different to me.

Yes, it's a Vegas Burrowing Owl! This guy was airing himself out and taking a shower in the drizzle. It doesn't rain very often here, so he was enjoying it.

Those are fantastic shots and look great on my screen! That first shot does it for me! Really fine capture!

Beautiful shots. Really nice. And I am glad to see he's taking a shower, they always look dirty to me.

How far away were you? Also, how close can you get to them?
