A client who purchased several photos offf me asked if I'd consider trying to design a poster with his 2 sons on them. I stsrted by trying an individual one, which, although a little plain, I was resonably happy with, however I feel when I've tried to put both in the same style it lacks something, I'm not sure what though. I've posted it below, I'm probably more likely to go right back to square one with a completely different design but would more than welcome any ideas to improve this one. Thanks for taking the time to look and thanks in advance for any advice given.

i like it mate, the only thing i would do differently is to have them running on grass, not the black reflective that is in the first pic.

It doesn't do a lot for me. I don't like the "glowing" halo effect around the players and the fact that they appear to be running in space. The posters I've seen that I liked were when the background was an opaque B&W close-up, and then there were other blended images on top of it. Did you get any images where both of these guys are legitimately in the same image in a play? I think that's where I'd start is trying to capture an image that puts them together. Then you don't have to force it this way.

I'd also say that the way that Ryan's hand (on the left) is in shade is somewhat distracting.
