Hi,

I'm still relatively new to the world of photography. I currently use my Canon Rebel XTi paired up with a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 DG APO HSM Macro and a Sigma 1.4x TC.

I am finding that all of my photos taken with this lens set up are Soft or appear not totally focused. I know there is a version of the Sigma 70-200 that has softness issues, but I used the lense before I acquired my TC and all of the photos were amazingly sharp. It wasn't until I added the 1.4x TC that I noticed the softness issue.

Can anyone help me with troubleshooting this problem? Is it a faulty TC? Is it a sign it needs a cleaning (doesn't look like it needs it)?

None of the reviews I read about the TC said anything of this problem.

Thanks!

Greg
