Pictures Not Showing a Second Time

Not sure if this is the correct place. But I have this really annoying problem; click on a pic and it shows - no problem. Go back a second time to maybe evaluate further and the pic will not show. I just get "Loading" and the twirly revolving icon but not a second view.
Doesn't happen every time, but when it does it drives me up the wall :evil:
Anyone have a solution? Using Firefox BTW.

If this happens again, tell me URL (thread address) so I can see what happens here. It might be a slow external image server (like Flickr).

Pekka's probably right about the image being hosted on another server like Flikr, Pbase or Smugmug etc. and sometimes these get overloaded and the images take ages to show here.

Just had this happen again with Flikr and Pbase. So it's their fault and not a problem with my setup? Thanks for the help.
