Finally , after week of calls trying to verify my shipping info , they shipped my new toy , just got it 300 f2.8.
I am leaving for the weekend and hopefully will get some nice shots with it,
will post next week .

Having owned mine for over a year, I can guarantee that this will blow your socks off.

I did a series of test shots in my flat against my 70-200 f/2.8 IS L with teleconverters etc and by moving the camera to get the same FOV - the 300mm kicked so much arse - and so clearly - that my 70-200 rarely gets a look-in these days.

One word of warning though - if a lens of this physical size is new to you - be very careful to make sure both the lens and camera are tethered to you during lens changes. Use the lens *&* body straps....

well I just got home and did some quick PP
I absolutely love this lens , looks like 70-200 will spend more time at home ,
and 100-400 will be sold .

shot taken in ai-servo , btw from almost 500 shots only few OOF all in ai-servo + center focus point .
