I took a picture that I have actually been waiting to take for a long time (that's another story) but when I took it, then brought it up in CS3 I saw a bunch of lights in the picture to the side of the train. After looking at them a little bit, I realized that they were reflections from the train lights, only upside down. Can any one confirm that for me? Also, could I have prevented that from happening if I had had a CP on?

Do you have a UV filter on your lens? If so, that's the cause...

The lights reflect off the object element of your lens, then off the back of your filter so you are in effect photographing the lights AND the reflection of the lights.

Also, if you have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, you should be able to clone out the reflections.

If you don't have either of those, you can get The Gimp for free. It has a clone tool as well.
