hey guys...did a wedding shoot today and I promised them I'd burn everything onto CDs...what's a good CD to burn onto? I think I'll have about 4-5 CDs' worth of stuff haha...don't wanna spend a fortune, but I do want to give it to them on a quality disc.

Cheers,
-Tamas

Consider DVD. One DVD+r will hold six CDs worth.

I use Memorex or HP usually.

Use a DVD if you have a burner. Memorex is all I use.

I've never had a CD fail. I have loads of music and data cd's from as far back as 1998 and ALL are fine. I buy the cheapest ones I can find.

Taiyo Yuden are one of the best you can buy, and is all I use now.

They make DVD+R and CD-Rs etc.

I've had troubles burning cheap ones before...hmmm

I was thinking DVD, but since it's not for me, I want to go the simplest possible (so they can go anywhere and print it, display it on their computer if they don't have a DVD player, etc :D)

I second the recommendation for Taiyo Yuden. Also, don't burn at the maximum speed, and always verify your burns. Supermediastore.com has good prices on these, and claims to only use the real deal, not TY knockoffs.

The Delkin Gold Archival disks are also a good alternative. A scratch protective coating is an option on them and they are expensive.

thanks for the comments...I think I'll pick up both DVDs and CDs...never hurts to have them kicking around :) My friend said anything that says "archival" on it should be good...is that true?
