You could have opened up to f/4 or f/2.8 (assuming you were using your 70-200/2.8 ) and dropped your ISO to 400 or even 200 while still maintaining your 1/500 sec shutter speed. That would have isolated the players from the background (important, as Rocky Stone has an awful busy background no matter which angle you shoot from). Also, while your histograms are well balanced, I think I would have over-exposed by about a stop, pushing the histogram to the right and opening up some detail in the blacks. Dan
