After trying to talk myself out of it I recently purchased a Canon 40D with the 28-135 kit lens, the rebates and a Amazon.com gold box deal was just too good to pass up.
Took the camera to work today with the expatiation of doing a little duck hunting on my way home from work. Then while at work I noticed the bakery was frosting a batch of decorated cookies for a bridal shower, and commented that I should have brought my new camera and how it is a tradition to post a photo of a duck with any new camera equipment one buys. On my way out they gave me one of the duck cookies and there fore with out further due Photo 100-0001.
