Glad I went along yesterday and glad I gave sunday a miss, due to the weather. Here's a few shots from practice and qualifying. First time I have had to try my Mk3 out since the firmware update and was quite happy. Shots taken with 300mm F2.8 IS and either 1.4 or 2x tc attached.

Plenty of this going on, and not just in practice.

Nice shots.

I went today... what a waste of time. Delayed by 2 hours... stood in the rain for almost an hour for them to clear up the water on the track. I left early in the end... didn't even bother to take my camera out of my bag.

Nice catch on Plato's spin there Kev. He really did have a weekend of 2 halves . I like the last one too. I assume you were resting right on the fence as it's nice & low.

What did you really expect? 2 Marshals injured (fortunately only slightly) up at Tower and more standing water on parts of the track than i've seen in a long time. Watch some of the TV coverage, the visibility was almost zero.

I also left early but that's the risk you take in this country. The weather yesterday was fantastic.

What's that suppose to mean? I said I left early, and I think it was a waste of time for me, and it was.
