I'm not a big fan of the just legs, or the riders without arms ones. The lighing is also really uneven on almost all of them, perhaps try adding some fill flash?

But the last one is probably my favorite

Yeah, the lighting was a pain. The park is covered half way by trees, making it nice for riders, but a pain for me. I was using my Sunpak 383 and shooting in Av and didn't realize until later that day that my shutter speed was too high to sync with my flash. The flash was going off, but I didn't realize that it wasn't syncing.

I'd love to use some fill flash, but I need to save up for a 580.

Cut off body parts

I like it on some of them. IMO it shifts the focus to the board and the feet. Others, well, I just didn't have a wide enough angle.

there are much cheaper ways to go about that my friend

just pop your head in the lighting section up top, they can offer some great help, and point you in the direction of cheap effective lighting

Like what? I thought I've read quite a bit in there, can you point me to a specific thread?

a couple sunpack 383's and ebay triggers. about 150 for that set up.
