Just wondering how many exclusive 20D users are left here.

I still am using one, went to a 1D MKII for awhile but didnt like the weight or the stress of the price tag around my neck so went back to old trustworthy 20D.

Any 20D shooters left? Any plans to upgrade to the 40D?

I'm too cheap to move up when my 20D does everything I need it to right now. Saving up for an eventual run at a MKIIN, when prices get down a bit more, but I think I will always have ole' trusty.

I'm still using a 20D. Actually, I'm looking to buy a 2nd one.

Not ready to upgrade yet.

I use a 20D and a G9. I don't plan on changing until I see what's in store for the next generation of 5D, and even then I won't be the first to jump since I don't want to be one of Canon's beta testers.

I'm not a big Canon fan, but I'd probably stick with them for the long run only because of the hassle of changing. If the 5D II isn't much of an upgrade, I'll be waiting for 5D MK III.

I love mine, may buy a second for back up, but like the larger LCD on the 40D.
I posted a year ago or so about the 20D being obsolete due to the fact it went from camera of the year to not even mentioned in the magazines or ads, bout got my head handed to me on a plate...I think the 20D has earned a "cult" following...very capable all around.

I've got my 20D, but I must admit I am having some serious envy with all the new cameras out there.

I use a pair of gripped 20D bodies. I've also owned the 30D, 1D, and 1DMk2, but ended up going back to the 20D because of one main reason: value for their cost.

I think it's currently one of the best bang-for-your-buck DSLR bodies. Produces great images and does all that I need (casual, event, and portrait shooting). I've come to realize that choice of body is not nearly as critical as lenses, and (even more importantly - as I'm slowly starting to learn) proper lighting.

My exact sentiments. I swear this thing is indestructible. Anyone have a guesstimate of how many shots are on their 20D? Anyone get their shutter replaced? Mine's got some mileage.
