Well I spent Saturday at Croft in tropical conditions for the qualifying and a few races, I decided to give Sunday a miss which after having watched the racing on TV seemed to have been the right plan.
Here are a selection of photos all taken with a Canon 1D MKIII and Canon 300mm f2.8 lens and possible 1.4 and 2x convertors
1.
Andrew Jordan, I just like this one as I think it's a very photogenic car
2.
Michael Caine overcooking it into the complex
3.
No matter how many times the marshalls replaced the floppy barriers somebody took them out straight away, here's Plato complete with flying floppy
4.
Josh Hill pushing hard into Clervaux and losing some fuel in the process, actually had a chat with his dad on Saturday, really nice bloke.
5.
Robert Gaffney having had the bonnet fly open on the opening lap of practice he seemed to be having trouble seeing and gave it a bit of opposite lock into the complex
6.
A gaggle of Ginettas stream into Clervaux with the team mechanics in the background.
7.
Plato kerb hopping at Hawthorn
8.
One of the drives of the weekend, local lad Robert Lawson only did about 4 laps in qualifying, put it on pole and then won the race
All comments welcome
Cheers
Ian
