I had a great time! It really opened my eyes up on how difficult it is to photograph these guys. Here are a few from the weekend.

Oh and it looks as tho it autofilled the title from my last thread, these are actually from the race day.

Very Cool!

I was there as well, and you are right, they are incredibly hard to shoot! You did very well, despite the fact that over half of the "track-time" got scratched, what a bummer. Very nice job.

edit: Were you in the media pit? If so we probably ran into each other. I can't imagine getting shots out amongst the crowd. I tried walking around a bit, and it was near impossible with all of the people there.

Nope I was in Zone 2. I got there at 9:00 AM with my folding chairs and just sat and waited. I was only 10th in line so I was right on the railing for the whole show. And you are right, if you weren't on the railing it would be impossible to shoot.
