I too just got the SterlingTek battery - shipping was superfast (ordered on 2nd, received on 4th via USPS). $ 15 battery and shipping (shipping cost was half as much as the battery price !) Charged & powered up with no problem. The battery is assembled in China but sticker says cells are made in Japan. Don't know how this particular one will hold up in the long run, but for this price can't go wrong. I've had good luck with no-brand name batteries in electronic equipment in the past.

Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

Thats why you order $60 worth of stuff to get free shipping!:) I have used Sterlingteks exclusively in my XT and now 30D. Nothing but pleased with them.

I've got a couple of the ones Sterlingtek sells - 100-240V, include a 12V cigarette lighter adapter and double (with a charged battery in place) as a flashlight.
