Hare Scramble - NCHSA @ NCMP

My first time EVER using an external flash, and also my first time shooting a hare scramble. The race was at North Carolina Motorsports Park, in Henderson, North Carolina.

I shoot MX frequently, but quickly learned that all the 'normal' MX settings are thrown out when shooting in the woods. Its a whole different ballgame, especially when the natural lighting is changing by the minute.

I love these shots. I am a KTM rider/fan so the more KTM's the better. Nice color and action.

You would have been in heaven, as with most other XC type events around the country I am sure......I'd guess 75% where KTM's.

Yeah, I was totally expecting him to be staring at me when I opened the pic to do some PP......but was amazed to find he was actually weighing his options as to which path to take.
