I am having a hell of a time getting to be able to open some ORF files. I've tried finding and downloading the Camera Raw 2.4 Plug In but I can't even seem to find a version that works.

Can anyone help?! I really need to get to these photos soon :(

My client took 400 Raw format photos in LA of his wife on the beach, and we cannot get any of them open

Well, just like with Canon cameras, it depends on what Olympus camera was used to create the ORF files. If it is a recent camera model then you'd need to either convert them all to DNG format or use ACR 4.x/Lightroom.

The only reason you'd want to use ACR 2.4 is if you have Photoshop CS....the ACR 2 series is for Photoshop CS.

Yes, in Lightroom select the files you want to convert, then press File > Export from the menu. You will then be presented with a dialog box in which you could choose the options you want; choose JPEG for format, sRGB for Color Space, and you'll have to decide if you want to resize the exported JPEGS and the Quality setting. Then select an Export Location (one should already be selected by default), and click the Export button and your files will be exported and saved as JPEGS in the folder you chose.

Its easier if all the ORFs are imported into Lightroom in a single folder; then you could just select the entire folder and then run the Export options.

As an aside, I must admit that this and several other questions you've asked in this forum are rather puzzling for someone with "client(s)" (I guess that makes you a pro and these are things a pro ought to know).
