Taken DIRECTLY from the company's website...

Since its introduction, Sekonic's L-358 Flash Master has become the best-selling digital flash meter in its class. Weather-sealed against the nastiest of working conditions, the L-358 delivers dead-nuts accurate flash and ambient light reading in both incident and reflected modes.

What's your point? In my opinion, the truth was spoken in the paragraph.

The term "dead nuts" - usually used to describe something being perfectly adjusted - is something I have heard used and used myself since I was a little kid.

I've heard the term "dead-nuts" before and am familiar with it, of course. I just never heard it used in the context of an add before! I'm a journalist, myself, so I would never have considered using it in an advertisement like that! I just thought it was hilarious.

I've heard that phrase from my father many times and used it myself. I've always considered it a bit vulgar (in a good way) though and not something I'd see in ad copy.

I just fell in love with my L-358 all over again! :D :p

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I think the meaning is quite obvious, but it's not a phrase I've come across before.

This is funny! We use the term a lot in the machining industry - but only as "shop talk" not in your product brochure!!!:lol:
