Part Deux of my trip to Brookfield Zoo... I could not believe what I saw when I got home and looked at these pictures. The baboons were unbelievable that day. This guy was sitting here like this, while 2 others were digging in places that can't be discussed in open air. I was embarrassed to even point the camera in that direction. Trust me, you don't want to know what was going on...

Also, here's another of the elephant that I posted in my other thread. I liked the magnificence of his (or her) ears spread out from the motion of swinging his (or her) trunk...

What do you think?

1.) Titled either "Monkey Business" or "Red Rocket"

Thanks, Flo, for the comments as usual!

What makes me laugh is that I shot about 40 frames of this guy making funny faces, and then I looked away to discuss my L series lens with a passerby and shot literally one more photo. I zoomed in to check his face for focus, and I liked it, and moved on. I really cracked up when I got home and saw this "one" picture I took of him with uncrossed legs...

Here's some of his other funny faces...these are 100% crops with NO post processing whatsoever.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm laughing pretty hard over "red rocket." 'Round here, we just call that pink lipstick.

Eww. Off to hide my face.

I like to accessorize a model, esp if they are wearing a mono-color type of out fit. Adding some simple jewelry like a necklace with a pendant or something just to bring the viewers eye's towar......

OMG WTF!

LoL jk... Nice pics

Thanks!

This is exactly what I did when I got home and noticed it... felt a little sleazy then... but laughed hysterically at it. You never know what you might capture when shooting baboons. Kind of like watching a no-holds-barred reality show where anything goes.
