It looks more like a scratch on the focus screen than a hair can Canon Service replace this screen on my 30D and where are they located?

To buy a new one is less than $30 for the 40D. I would do a search on Youtube as you will find many tutorials, based on the brand you got Becky....Mom to 5 kids ages 22-10...proud military mom and aunt!
