The fam and I went to Cabo again this year for 10 days. Week before we leave I decide to leave the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW at home and pick up a Panasonic something-or-other P&S camera (my first ever) to lighten my photographic load. On previous vacations, my bag has turned into my "other" child - can't leave it in a hotel room, take it everywhere, watch it like a hawk, etc... Anyway, I returned the P&S back to Costco 3 days later after some test shots and lugged my 27lb camera bag around for the entire trip - yes, it was worth it:

Hey Bill. No sure how to put this mildly but there really isn't a ton of artistic merit to these. Nice vacation snapshots but that's about it with one notable exception...the third image. Great use of black and white there and interesting framing. I would clone out whatever object that is (person?) near the water reflection but that's about it.

Cool that you guys had a great time. Nothing beats a family adventure.
