What an incredible event ... the Acropolis rally is rougher than a rough thing on a very rough day :D. All the major players had problems of some sort and the event wasnt decided until the fat lady took center stage!

Anyway on to a few photos ...

Wonderful again!

What's better the heat of the Acropolis or the cold of Rally GB?

I do love the variation you post ,Jay.
Normally I am not a fan of fisheye shots, but the petter shot is a blinder, the flying Citroen ,terrific.
The dolly birds look lovely ,and the mirror shot works well, and is something I will try for soon.
Will check the website as sure to be good.
Great work travelling man.
Pons:)

Cheers Nick. I've shifted my focus (excuse the pun) a little and will be concentrating more on WRC events in the future.

Thank Gary, I actually enjoy taking the atmosphere photos far more than I do the cars. I just find them more interesting.

Cheers Ant :). I was delighted that Red Bull decided to erect the banner over the jump ... the same cannot be said for the ISC though. Heard that they were not at all happy.

Didnt bother with a camera cover .... I used the 'up the jumper' technique instead. Worked pretty well ;)

Really great shots, Jay. Looks like a great day!

Thanks Anke. It was actually a great 4 days. WRC events have a shakedown or testing day followed by 3 days of competitive driving.

What's better the heat of the Acropolis or the cold of Rally GB?

Cheers Felix .... The heat and dust of the Acropolis is certainly different to the mud, wind and rain of Rally GB. Carrying a backpack containing 50lbs of camera gear is certainly easier in Wales.

Cheers
