I really like this picture. Both the picture & the PP work done on it. I wish I would have had a shot like this at my wedding. Maybe, since I just got married a couple of months ago I should take my shoes outside and get a picture like this. Nobody would ever know that it wasn't done on my wedding day. Great job keep up the good work!

Not a pro by any means.. Just enjoy taking pics.

Isn;t that the way! We try and try to get something posed just right, and here they were just waiting for a photo!;)

Very nice shot.

I am a big fan of vignettes but as mentioned before, it's too much for this photo.
It will probably be better off with no vignette at all.

I would also revaluate the pp techniques/presets used. I can see a very unnatural shadow under the anterior and lateral part of the shoe (or whatever girls call it).

One last observation over the technical aspect of the shot. I see it was shot at ISO 400 at a shutter speed of 1/160 and focal lenght of 40mm. I don't know about the 30D, but on my XTi, I feel I get better results at ISO 200 vs 400; as such I would've shot at a lower ISO and shutter speed at that focal length.

Great capture!

It's all in the bag.

Hey Sev,

I do think the slight vignette looks better and the aforementioned shadows look more natural.

No DDS here, RD with anatomy fetish :)

I like the one in your first post best. I actually like the heavy vignetting on that one.

Nice, I'm a lab tech for a Dental Lab. It did bring the photo back to a natural state. I like them both to be honest.

I like the edited slight Vignette..and the B&W is quite sweet! But the shoe color is really gorgeous.;)
