Nice title.
Nice main subject location.
Nice sky grain (some might find it not).

Share with us the exposure parameters and conditions of the shot as well as what you are looking for feedback on if any.

It's all in the bag.

Thank you for the response. I'll accept all feedback, but primarily composition and overall feel of the image. I'm not really looking for IQ critique, because I was playing with an old camera and it just can't match the IQ of my newer gear.

Basically does the image make you feel anything regardless of IQ.

Conditions were very overcast.

It just has the look of an infra red.which I don't like so much...I know its not.but to me, it feels unfinished...you know what I mean?

You are correct that it's not IR (or at least it was not my intension to simulate IR). As for unfinished, I'm not quite sure I'm following. Maybe it's just not a strong enough subject?

I made some changes to the lighting to help make the shack the most prominent subject.

Chris. I am really trying.....lol.but I just don't feel it....:(
I think I know what the feel is supposed to be.kind of old timey, rustic.but maybe its because so many of "textures" appear the same.....am I just confusing this more?

LOL it's ok, I was overly optimistic with this test. I think the subject just isn't really that compelling.

I was out with the first digital camera I bought for my wife 6 years ago (Olympus D-520), and I wanted to see what it was like again. I was just out for my lunch and decided to go for a quick shoot with this relic (by digital standards). IQ is obviously very degraded by today's standards, but with that aside I want to create a good image with it. I mean they keep saying it's not the gear it's the photographer so I'm trying to work within the limitations of this gear to see if I can capture something that transends IQ.

I'll just keep trying different things :)

I've taken a ton of those shots with good gear and no matter what I do, they just don't grab me. FWIW

BTW, when I saw the title, I thought you had been talking to my psychiatrist.
