I had a 20D before getting a 1D3. I always liked the camera, it did a good job.

Maybe send it in, after 6 mo's, to have it serviced for maintenance at Canon. I liked mine, when I had it. Went the FF route, almost two years ago, now. Had the 20D for about 2 as well. The progression from the 20 to 5D was the most logical for me, and the lenses I own. Some day...a 1 series...but, no need for it now. Desire, of course. ![]() The guy quoted it as being "under 10k," and seeing that a 20D is supposed to be rated for 100k, I should be ok. Eric

I think it was a good deal, especially seeing as when I got mine (Oct. '07) they were going normally for $600 for just a body. Troubleshooting 101 (see also: LightRules, perryge):

My uses parallel Sasquatch's but I think he meant to say he uses the 5D more for landscapes. I love my 20D for macro; the 1.6 factor helps with certain subjects where it's tough to get close. You won't be disappointed and you paid a fair price. It should work well for years and you'll enjoy it.

I made a very good living off of the 20D until my upgrades this year. You will really love the 20D. Now get good glass an you will be ready to roll. Scott
