Hey guys...I really want to get some wireless triggers...does anyone know of any that would work with a Sigma 530 DG Super? The cheaper the better :)

thanks

Do you mean as an E-TTL slave, or just setting and firing manually? if the latter, I understood the 530DG Super to include an optical slave trigger, in which case your pop-up flash would be able to fire it. If the former, either another 530DG Super or Canon's ST-E2 would probably be the least-expensive options.

whoops...I should have made myself a little more clear. I've already been firing it wirelessly with my on-camera flash...I'm thinking something like a Pocket Wizard so I can fire it WITHOUT having to have a light source on my camera/without having to make sure my flash can "see" my camera. (I'm not sure if I'm making sense).

i think this is what you're after - non-ebay source, free shipping and a few dollars cheaper.

Anybody use those triggers? It looks like they use AAA batteries, which would be more cost effective than the Gadget Infiniti models.

I've used the ebay triggers on my Sigma EF 500 DG Super and they worked very well.

Mighty they trigger the flash remotely without a cord and without the use of a flash connected tot eh camera. You can use them to position light sources away from the camera.

Great links thanks!

I use these. Haven't had a problem with them. Cheaply made, but effective none the less.

I read thrugh the reveiws there werent to many of them one stated in Other Thoughts:" I've read some early versions of this didn't play well with Canon ETTL flashes. Since I don't have one I cannot verify this." witch concerns me cause I have a 430ex speedlight and need a wireles transmitter

I have not used them myself. Here is a link to a customer ratings site that has some feedback on that store: Reseller Ratings: dealextreme.com (external link)
