http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6201 (external link) does any one have a referance for them or has used them or orderd from this compant before?

I have made several (about 25 or more?) orders from this company and generally there quality control is quite good (Free shipping is a little slow - but hey - it's free!).
When you look at the higher priced alternatives to this product though - doesn't it make $20 sound like chicken feed? My guess is it's worth buying one just to try it out - and not much lost in the order if it doesn't - if you're considering this product, you're probably not going to be aproffessional (or you'd buy more expesive gear elsewhere) and i would suggest you also don't NEED the E-TTL if it doesn't work...

in fact i'd have ordered one already except i don't have a flash :(

I bought a lens/body cap and battery grip from there for my 400D as well, it was ~$100 and has been great - but that's a different brand and a little off topic

I use these. Haven't had a problem with them. Cheaply made, but effective none the less.

curious to know that how effective are they to the max range? When do they not start to work properly?

Thanks

I can vouch for this company but I haven't used this product before. I bought some lightsphere knockoffs from them as well as other flash accessories. Shipping takes a couple weeks but hey, it's free!
