Some nice action...but: backgrounds could be better (open up the lens) and noise is very, very, very bad (again, open the lens, or use software like Noise Ninja).

The first one is a pretty good bat on ball with face and eyes present. The background is distracting.....I didn't check the exif but if you have the ability to shoot faster optically you should do so.

The 2nd shot has action....but I can't tell what is going on. Why is the ball lying there. I think the shot needs a defensive player to explain the action. Also the lighting is tough but the runner's face is totally gone in shadow.

Well, since there is no exif info in the image so could you possibly say the shutter speed, aperture and ISO that these two were taken at? Also stuff like time of day would be nice to know (type of camera as well).

Judging from the file names, they appear to have been taken with a Sony camera

Could be a Nikon too, I thought they used DSC.
