Ok everyone chime in when are your birthdays????

Hmm.. I was 40 a couple of weeks ago. I still have my cards up on the sideboard - it's probably bad luck.

Good morning, Lisa.

Thank you for your comment on my photos. In all honesty, I must declare that neither one give a totally accurate depction of what my hair actually looks like.

#1, too little.
#2, too blonde.

What are you plans for today?

Just odd and ends. BIL arrives tomorrow, and it's his birthday. I supsect we'll make some preparations for that. I have to figure out how I'm going to do 'hands-free' on my cell phone. On July 1, it will be against the law to use a phone conventionally while driving a car. I suspect I'll end up with one of the stupid-looking bluetooth devices ala Star Trek. I do have bluetooth in the car, but I just don't like the idea of everybody in the vehicle hearing my conversations. You never know when your bookie is going to call.

Wow....yet another birthday. Yours is what? 5 days away? This is pretty exciting.

Wow, it's like birthday month or week around here!

I have a Star Trek device and hate it, if I'm in a store talking on it people still look at you like "she's crazy, she's talking out loud to HERSELF"

In a car would not be as bad and I wish I had a law to force me into being hands free. I'm pretty good at talking/texting while driving but it just takes one time and then it's just not the best thing anymore.

I suspect sales of Bluetooths will increase because like eye glasses people will misplace theirs or need one in various places so they don't have to keep moving just one.

Yep wow 5 days. Birthdays are over rated also LOL

Lisa,

You text while driving

If you see someone in the car behind you blowing his horn and shaking his fist...its just me :) I cannot imagine how anyone can text message and drive at the same time? I have a hard enough time sending text messages from my couch :)

Well, it's done in letters at a time and of course I stop when I have to address something that will take time, but that is just small replies, and it takes me a bit of time to get it finished because I type a letter and look and on and on.

I don't do it a lot, but yes, I do do it.

Jim I need to talk to the one girl I have a shoot with on Saturday then I'll know what I have going on. My husband comes in at 6:15 at Cleveland Hopkins, so I know I'll be up that way for sure.

Using the phone while driving has been illegal over in the UK for a couple of years now. You still see people do it though, and it always annoys me. But then that's mostly because I can't multi-task like that...

The thing I hate about texting is the "keyboard" on the cell phone. It is just difficult to find the letters you want as your mind is trained to see the "QWERTY" key layout and 99% of cell phones have the letters in alphabetized layout.
