I used a Tamron 28-75 2.8 for the entire wedding! It is my favorite lens. I have "better" but not at that range. I use this lens on 90% of everything I do.

Any suggestions on a Canon this range that will do me any better?

I also have that lens and mine is just as sharp as yours. However, it is out on loan to my niece for the moment as she is the happy recipient of my 20D but couldn't afford a lens until the end of summer.

So today I will do portraits with my 85/1.2 (always), groups with the 24-105 and fill in the rest with my 70-200/2.8. All on the 5D.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Well.. I just had the fateful day when all the parents meet themselves for the first time ever.... All 6 of them.

Suprisingly, they all got along famously. We have loads of food and wine left over though, so we're trying to get through it all.

Pete,

Outstanding! That's a big hurdle to jump :)

We are going to NYC on the 20th ofJuly to meet our son's girlfriend...he went last month to meet her parents...we are hoping for wedding bells soon...Elaine wants more grandkids ;)

Hey kathy

You left huh..

when you get back...

Is there any reason why we can't save that frame as an action and for it to do it automatically?

The Brick - 24-70 2.8 L. Beautiful lens. And silky smooth action.

ok, the only thing that did not work well was the signature, but the frame is perfect, Kathy save it to an action, it's a one click frame, awesome

As much as I love my brick...I love my 17-55MM f/2.8 EF-S IS even more.

I did get some awesome "brick" shots at the wedding last Saturday...had it on the 5D...great combo there :):)

We got to my daughter's about noon today...I have been shooting like mad all afternoon...the kids are having a ball. A whole week without work...just grandkids and fun :)

That makes sense, Jim. The Brick is somewhat wasted on a crop body.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
