I don't know, Jim. It seems to me that if we were really convinced it might last, we'd have started a family by now.

You're not quite old enough to my Dad, I don't think, Tom, but you can adopt my kids as grandkids. They'd love more people in their lives who love them and spoil them. :) They're not stupid.

Okay. I have two Korean nieces (brother's adopted daughters). I might as well have Chinese grandchildren.

Sold!

You now have 2 grandsons, 1 is 11, the other almost 9. They love Pokemon and anything Nintendo. They are also extremely cute and wonderful.

I just took a picture of them by the fireplace and will be posting it as soon as the whole CF card gets uploaded to my external drive. I had 86 pictures on it I forgot to get on the computer.

I took over 12 GB of pictures this weekend for the youth conference and will be sending the keepers to my Smugmug pro account with password protection for the leaders to get and upload themselves. None of the pictures will be put on the net for any reason so I won't post here. But I have to say, the kids had a blast and I was skeptical, but by the end, I was totally impressed and inspired. Great job to the organizers and to my 12 girls that went and made me feel like I was a good leader for them. In reality, they are terrific people already.

Here they are, Tom. Not the best shot, but without flash, handheld at 1/50 sec, ISO 1600 and F2.8. And their orthodonist is on my speed-dial. ;)

Yes. I know they are about as good as it gets. They are best friends and worst enemies. When my husband and I got married, we made a plan for our children when they came. These two sons play soccer, play the piano and guitar and cello, love basketball and football, like to swim, camp, laugh and play video stuff. They enjoy everything except food. Where did I go wrong? Both are extremely thin and don't agonize over food. I guess that's good in the long run. Just not so fun to take them out to eat, they always choose the macaroni & cheese or chicken nuggets.

Suzy,

Handsome boys for sure...Here are two young ladies (13 & 3.5 years old) Sarah & Jules...let's get them together in 10 years or so :D

Made this shot on my daughter's deck last night.

Tom, we need Godparents here :)

I thought all kids chose those two options . . . Or burgers & hot dogs with chips.

You think? My sons won't go to the Thai place with us, which is so sad. We love ethnic food. Greg will eat tacos and enjoy them thoroughly. Jared, no. He orders the embarrassing nuggets at the Mexican place. And no go on the Five Guys for us. They don't eat meat unless forced to or it's $22 a plate steak.

Jim, your little red head looks just like your wife! I can't get over that. She's so cute. And your older granddaughter, WOW. She's beautiful! Lucky you and Elaine!

Jon,

Forgot to mention...I used the Domke F-1X last week on my wedding trip to Cumberland, MD. I loved it...two bodies, five lenses, two flash units, and assorted batteries, filters, etc. It all fit just fine...neat and well organized :) I am now a beliver!
