So, i went into Troy and ate at a really nice place and talked to some people and handed out some business cards and i think I'm gonna to like my "little" town LOL

but wow, it's really developing, it's amazing the stuff they are building around here.

I took my son out for pictures, I'll be posting some soon!

then a lady told us of an amazing park so we drove there real fast and it was really beautiful! So we took pics there and are going to surprise Jim and take him there Sunday evening. Maybe get some family pics, I dunno...we will see.

So, I felt better getting out to shoot. It's amazing.

Belmondo, please check in. I just saw a 5.8 quake hit a fair bit north of you in Chino Hills.

Hey, Chris. Thanks for asking. The epicenter was about 50 miles west of here, so we felt it, but just as a somewhat long-lasting roller. They also downgraded it to a 5.4, so it was pretty inconsequential.

We lived through the Loma Prieta Quake in 1989. That was a 7.1, and we were very close to it. THAT was fun.

It takes something pretty big to get most people's attention out here. We were in a restaurant when it hit today, and nobody moved. One or two people looked up, and one lady even gave out a little 'Whoop.' A couple people said they didn't feel it at all, although I suspect they must be dead from the neck down. It was certainly noticeable, but not alarmingly so.

Someplace in Mo. had something they think is anthrax delivered to a county building....still waiting to hear.

Not a peep. I think she was only going to be on the west coast for a couple days, then was heading east. I would imagine she'll check in when she gets back home.
