Afternoon, I guess, it's noon. I'm back from Costco and had Chinese food for lunch. Beef chow foon and shrimp with lobster sauce, I only ate about 1/4 of one and 1/10 of the other. I'm trying not to over eat. But I am doing very well, thank you. Oatmeal for breakfast and smart dinner. Didn't gain more than 2 pounds on vacation. :)

Oh joy, the afternoon headache is appearing. I'm thinking I need to get new headphones. I spend almost all day with them on and I think that's what is causing the headaches.

It could also be that I looked at my investments a little while ago...that hurt.

I just got off the phone with B&H. I won't be doing rebates from SanDisk for a while. I know it's minor and petty, but I really wished they had done a gift card or something that was a little more easily redeemable than a check that I have to mail into B&H. Sigh.

I'm going to order some stuff in a few minutes here. A couple of Kingston CF cards and an Expodisc.

Edit: It's not as easy as I thought. You have to get a quote, mail in the check, wait for them to apply it to your account, then pay for the rest...I should've known it wouldn't be easy. SanDisk is now off my list for a while. I should've opted for the Visa gift card instead. That'll learn me.

So after days of digging through closets, the garage, the attic and every other nook & cranny I could posibly "store" stuff in, I have decided I WILL have a garage sale. In fact I think we have enough stuff I could open a used goodies store! The local thrift shops are so full right now that they are not even accepting donations, so I either throw it away (not in my nature) or sell it myself.

Maybe I will make enough to buy some new camera gadget!:p

The one that I bought today is the 17", 2.65Ghz with 4GB and 200GB HDD. I bought a bunch of other extras and saved around $310 all together. Well worth it! Busy loading CS3, Lightroom and everything else on it now....

I have the mac tower,,but doing things while travelling and getting things done I will need to book! Next year I have 2 weddings in a row in Ohio, so I will have to do all the editing on the macbook. So, for sure I'll have one by March guys. Do not worry,,,...so for now I'll just drool over yours! :-)

Hey, that's my notebook!!! These days are amazing..I was surprised to see the line outside the store and the stores have to love the tax free incentive. I sure enjoyed it a bit, my son got a lot and we are headed to mid rivers mall tonight for a few other things!!!

I did not get to go to whole foods though...maybe next week!

The stores here are just packed, particularly the electronics stores and, of course, WalMart! Absolute Zoo...I actually called ahead and had a friend of mine reserve one for me and hold it apart. Walked in, grabbed it from the will call shelf and left. done. I like that!

Looks like you had FUN!

Every here day in Oregon is tax free:D. I go to other states and forget, go to buy something for a dollar and they want more! $310 is a fantastic savings, do they only do that once a year in Missouri?
