Looks like it's movie talk night. LOL

I am not much of a movie watcher, I see the first 10 minutes and sometimes the last 10 minutes, the rest of the time I am watching the insides of my eyelids. If the rerun a movie enough, over time I will eventually see the whole thing.

And the Bourne Supremacy of course.

The last one was the best.

I liked the first one best, especially the surprised ending. And Charlton Heston's scream was really scary.

Yeah, the first was the best. I remember as a kid we went to a Saturday Matinee once and watched all 5 of them back to back, I think my parents wanted to get rid of us for the day and it worked! LOL

Good morning all, Happy Birthday Tom! It's a gorgeous, HOT day here is SW Missouri...Perfect weather to shoot a Softball tournament!

Thanks bunches.

Tom, you need to share your number so we can text! I don't text a lot

I successfully exchanged text messages with three people today including two frequent contributors to this thread. Explain to me again why you don't just use the phone to call the same people and talk to them?

You missed Chet.

Impossible.

headed to the new Apple Kiosk in BestBuy later this afternoon! Macbook Pro is on the list.

I see you got one. You'll love it. I have a 17" early Intel MacBook Pro, and I love it. The new ones are faster, but only a relatively small amount. I can tell when a laptop is good. When I travel with it, I don't miss my computers at home. I do carry a full-size keyboard with it, but that's just me. Most people seem to like the keyboard on the laptop.

I just got off the phone with B&H. I won't be doing rebates from SanDisk for a while. I know it's minor and petty, but I really wished they had done a gift card or something that was a little more easily redeemable than a check that I have to mail into B&H. Sigh.

I'm going to order some stuff in a few minutes here. A couple of Kingston CF cards and an Expodisc.

Edit: It's not as easy as I thought. You have to get a quote, mail in the check, wait for them to apply it to your account, then pay for the rest...I should've known it wouldn't be easy. SanDisk is now off my list for a while. I should've opted for the Visa gift card instead. That'll learn me.

I got sucked into that same deal, and ended up with a $100 check for a camera store 500 miles from here. I held on to it until our next trip north, and used it towards the purchase of a Domke bag.

Lightroom is my hero!:D

Mine too. Does anyone know if there's a book on LR 2.0 available yet?

IMO the first Shrek was the best, the second was, well, ok. I haven't seen the third and I don't think I will!

Like so many of these things, the first is best, and they just tend to go downhill from there. Shrek 3 doesn't hold up well compared to the first two. The most notable exception to this 'rule' is the Harry Potter series. The first one was cute---almost fun. Since then, they've gotten progressively darker and more sinister. That tracks well with the books. IMHO there hasn't been a dud in the bunch.

Hope Tom had a great day!

We're off to Mt. Vernon in the morning.

I did have a very nice day, although we really didn't do half of what we'd planned. We're continuing tommorrow.

Harry Potter-1st 2 are still my favorite.

See my comment above.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
