That is amazing, and wonderful! My parents got married very young, I think my mom was 17 or 18, not sure how old my dad was (that's another long story). My mom was in her late 30's when she had me, I was one of those rainy night accidents;):D and of course was spoiled rotten!:p

My parents weren't particularly young when they married. I think Dad was 28, and Mom was 22. If Dad had lived two more months, they would have been married 70 years. He was 98 when he died, and she went just a couple years later.

I don't know how you can plan something like that, but I sure hope we take after them. If I live to be 98 (unlikely) and lois is still alive (likely), we'll have been married 79 years.

Hey Tom if Elaine I get to be 98 then we will have been married for 78 years :) Next year we will celebrate our 45th Anniversary.

I was playing around with PhotoShop Elements 6.0 tonight () and found an amazing little tool called "Auto Fix" It applies WB and Shadow/Light adjustments in a proper ratio to keep the two aspects in proper balence...it has a default setting and a slider to adjust the impact from the default...couple that with USM sharpening and 90% of PP work is done!

Jim -- I keep the Leica D-Lux 7 in the Glove Box just in case!
7D, G5X, 10-22MM EF-S, 17-55MM f/2.8 EF-S IS, 24-105MM f/4 EF L, Leica D-Lux 7

Interesting...

I have Elements 6.0 for the Mac, but haven't loaded it yet. Maybe I should do that.

Sometimes the simple tools out perform the complex ones. My observation is that PE 6.0 will do in two steps what it takes me 4 or 5 steps in PSCS2..., and PE 6.0 does a better job at it...go figure. PSCS2 is still my "go to" s/w for B&W and Sepia conversions.

If you do load PE 6.0...look under the Enhance Pull Down Menu and select the Adjust Auto Fix Option.

I love "rainy night accidents" Our youngest falls into that category...he was the result of a week long blizzard in Cheyene, WY.
