My favorite is top of the rock, I'd like to do it again with a more pleasant atmosphere.

well ...

i just wanted to share with everyone that i have found a new exciting hobby addition to my photos stuff ... and its as expensive as photography ..

SCUBA DIVING ..

during our honeymoon in hawaii .. my wife finally convinced me to try scuba, at first we tried snuba ( 20ft, with a air hose attached to a tank on the surface ) .. i fell in love with it right away and once we got on land again, we went to a local dive shop and signed up for discovery scuba lessons ... once i did that i was totally screwed ! .. here comes another expensive hobby lol ..

sorry, i am so excited that i love telling everyone, but no one seems to care cuz no one dives =(

I would love to dive, but like so many things, it's way down on the list. I would have to get over my fear of being harpooned.

You are going to have to get with Krisin on here, she takes some AMAZING shots underwater. I keep telling her to produce a book. I'm still waiting for it !!

I grew up in Southern California, and spent a lot of time at the beach. Jellyfish were an every day fact of life, and I've been stung by them many times. It is unpleasant, but not fatal. If you' truly love the ocean, you just have to be more attentive. Watch where you're walking.

Our idea of humor, by the way was to push the jellyfish up onto the beach, then bury them under an inch or two of sand. Some unsuspecting schlub would come along and step on it.

Ho, ho, ho.

We really were rotten kids. :o:o:o:o

Even camera equipment. I put my 500 f/4L up for sale on the forum, and I priced at the B&H price less 10%. It was absolutely perfect, but technically used. The fellow who bought it was from Australia. He was thrilled to get it, and ended up paying almost $500 to ship it by air. He still saved a couple thousand dollars compared to buying it new in Australia.
