You have to take time off once in a while. Lois and I owned our own business for a number of years, and we frequently worked weekends. We got into the habit of taking Tuesdays off, no matter what was gong on. Everyone knew it---clients, agents, employees, friends, family---everyone. They knew not to call unless someone was dying. The other six days of the week we were fair game.

BTW, we still call Tuesdays 'Love Day.'

I need your help

I am thinking that I need to revamp everything to do with this fledgling business so I want to pick your brains.

I currently have a very simple, clean web site. If you would all be so kind and take as much time as you can spare to have a look at it and let me know your thoughts and ways you think I could improve it I'd be grateful. In the works are a "featured gallery" and more wedding photos for the wedding gallery fwiw.

Tom - that's awesome!! Hubby and I take time off during the year and I try to take a day a week most weeks to go dive, but we don't have a day set aside just for us. Have to talk to him about that for sure.

Well, for one thing, your name is spelled wrong. It's Kirstin, not Krisitn.

I was actually thinking of starting another webpage just for the models only and remove them from my main page...i just do not want to buy another domain name.

Just saying hi to everyone. The storms is rolling around and they are saying 80,000 people are out of power...hope I get to keep mine. Will post some shots a little later I took of the storm from the house.

Kristin, I like your website and I had to laugh your slogan is the same as Nationwide Insurance and they just hired on Sanjaya from American Idol in a "Life comes at you fast" commercial campaign.

Ok, I've got some pics to post...

First such a sad story. This happened while I was gone and I just went down yesterday to shoot the site.

a father/son owned a small cafe down the street. Last week a man busted in at 9am, wrestled with the son, got up, shot the father in the neck and killed him, the son is still in critical condition. The father was 91, the son was 71. They were great community people and well loved.

The killer is still at large and it's been over a week so the trail has cooled a lot.

When I see things like this and others in the news... it makes me wonder what is happening to our world.

Kristin, I for one, love your site! The Featured Gallery would be a great idea, but I really do love your site because it is so clean and loads quickly...maybe a new background to spice things up a little?
