I always am not sure what to do when it comes to white balance. I find that often i tend to like what the camera picks up more than a "correct" white balance. Here is the first shot with a wb adjustment, do you think this works better?

inthedeck Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 04, 2008 06:50 | #9 Q...the easiest way I can tell you about white balance is to use an 18% gray card, or take a picture of the grass before taking other pics, etc. There's many methods. If you shoot RAW, then you can open up Canon's DPP, and adjust it accordingly. Basically, if the kittens are 'white' that's the color they should appear on screen, in print, etc. I tried to correct the last image, but I'm not talented enough with PP tools to be able to fix WB in Jpegs. They are adorable little stinkers though and the shot is sharp and the colors look pretty good here on my wife's monitor. Nxt time maybe trying using a toy or something to get their attention.
